Before Jesus ascended to heaven in the book of Acts, he clearly commissioned the apostles to become witnesses, telling people about Jesus everywhere. To this day, that mandate has never changed. We are called to speak his truth wherever we go, regardless of our training and titles. Today, websites, blogs, and other social media have become tools in spreading the truth about Jesus. This platform will be no different.
We believe that prayer and the scriptures go hand in hand. One makes zero sense without the other. The more we pray, the more the scriptures will be revealed to us. The more we read and study, the more we will want to draw near to God. That being said, this website will be broken into two parts:
#1 – Spiritual Growth
The enemy has waged a war against our minds and hearts. His tactic is to distract and detract us from God in any way he can. The only way to stand against his wily ways is to know the word and put it to action. As we read and study the scriptures together, our hope is that become so rooted and grounded in God’s love, that we are able to stand in confidence against every fiery dart of the enemy. We believe that God reveals his word to us through the power of the Holy Spirit. We don’t claim to know it all. But we do believe in sharing what the Holy Spirit is revealing to us in these times so that we can build one another in faith.
#2 – Prayers
God is deeply invested in every aspect of our lives and so we depend on him for everything, as he works all things for our good. We strongly believe that God keeps all of his promises. When we, in faith, pray his promises back to him, he has to respond. Our goal, as we study his word, is to become watchmen on the walls as we pray his promises over our homes, families, communities, nations, and the world. We encourage you all to join us in prayer. Our comment sections will be open to receive prayer requests and for us to pray for one another as the Holy Spirit leads you. We do ask that we remember the love of Christ as we comment and interact one with another.
We are forever in Christ’s service and in yours. Be blessed!
